Food writer Betty Fussell said, “eating is the great connector,” and I couldn’t agree with her more. All my life, I’ve built relationships with my family and friends eating meals around the table. I’m a gal who craves fried chicken just as much as a big salad. I prefer sitting at the bar, strongly believe food tastes better when eaten outside, and relax by cooking in my black and white checkerboard floor kitchen.
